As promised, ArtPlay and NetEase Games’ Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night mobile version appeared in December 2020. The game launched on December 3, 2020. People can pick it up for $9.99/€10.99 on both the App Store or Google Play. It gives people Miriam’s full Igavania sort of experience, complete with customization elements to change how she will look in-game.
It’s important to note that not everything is in this version of the game yet. While it is the full game, it doesn’t have full controller support. You can use one to play, but you must use touch screen controls in the menu. The virtual controller buttons also always remain on-screen, even if you are using a controller to go through the game.
Here’s another one of the official Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Android and Apple iOS trailers looking at how the game will control, run, and look on a mobile device in controlled conditions. You can see both general castle exploration and fights against some bosses. (Which could involve some minor spoilers.)
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night debuted on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019. The Android and Apple iOS versions are immediately available.
