BloodRayne: The Shroud Is “Currently On Hold”

You might recall Majesco had a BloodRayne game in development for the Nintendo 3DS, which they announced by way of a third-party games list at E3 last year. Titled BloodRayne: The Shroud, the game hasn’t really been mentioned by them ever since, until recently.

A GoNintendo reader recently stumbled upon news of BloodRayne: The Shroud on Majesco’s Facebook page for the series. “The 3DS title is currently on hold,” a Majesco representative wrote in reply to a curious fan who asked abut the game. “We’ll be sure to share any news when it’s available.”

In the mean time, Majesco will be publishing a 2D title, BloodRayne: Betrayal, developed by WayForward Technologies on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this summer.
