Arc System Works later added new characters from Arcana HeartSenran Kagura, and Akatsuki Blitzkampf into the roster. When the game initially launched for PS4, Switch, and PC in 2018, the netcode that it used was not rollback. While Arc System Works later announced the rollback netcode implementation, only the PS4 and PC versions received it in mid-April 2022.

Both Guilty Gear Strive and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle are currently available on PlayStation 4, PC, and arcades. The latest Guilty Gear title is also available on PlayStation 5, while the BlazBlue crossover game also appears on Nintendo Switch. Arc System Works will release both fighting games for Xbox One and Xbox Series X in Spring 2023.
