Black Friday in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is Now Nook Friday

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update added a new small event called Nook Friday that will appear on Black Friday. People who time travel reported an event begins on November 26, 2021. People who head to Timmy and Tommy’s store found them offering a limited time sale. [Thanks, Terrestrial Plays and Dalia!]

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nook Friday sale coincides with Black Friday, which begins in the United States on November 26, 2021. Many screenshots and videos appeared online. Between November 26-30, 2021, all items in the store will be 30% off. In images shown, the Nooklings offer the standard three furniture items in back and two in front on table. It also appears there will be a fourth large item on the first level to the left of the entrance.

Here’s the video of the sale shared on Twitter by Dalia.

In-game, Timmy and Tommy’s shop cycles through items every day. This means over the course of those five days, people could see 20 different large items and 10 small items.

As for actual Black Friday deals on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, none came up yet. It isn’t among the official Nintendo discounts announced for this 2021 shopping season. However, while the normal price is typically $59.99, places like Walmart often sell it for $49.99.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch, with Nook Friday set to run November 26-30, 2021 in-game.
