By As you already know, The Amazing Spider-Man game will take place after the events of the upcoming movie of the same name. This is allowing developer, Beenox, to take some liberties with the game’s story, such as adding villains like the Rhino to the story. Today, they revealed another character they’ll be including.
That’s Felicia Hardy, AKA the Black Cat. Beenox say she “may not have Spidey’s best interests in mind”. No further details have been provided, but this does raise the question of whether or not added characters such as these—Black Cat is a pretty major player—being in the game will influence future movies in any way.
Just this week, Sony announced the names of the the writers they’ve contracted to write the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man. Production of the sequel will begin in 2013.
