Best Weapons for Cloud
Cloud is the character you’ll likely use the most. He is quite versatile, so he is capable as a physical attacker (preferred), a caster, or a mix of both. Here are the weapons we like the most for Cloud and why:
- Umbral Blade: Decent for flexible characters who attack and use spells equally, good weapon ability in Prime Mode, and solid materia.
- Slipstream Saber: Our favorite, as it has high stats and is great for casters with its extra materia slots.
- Rune Blade: Possible option if players use an attack stat swap materia.
Best Weapons for Aerith
Aerith is the core healer in the group, and her best weapons reflect that with a focus on spells and materia slots:
- Timeless Rod: For more of a focus on magical damage.
- Gambanteinn: For more materia slots and the Noble Sacrifice weapon ability.
Best Weapons for Tifa in FFVII Rebirth
Tifa is a beast when it comes to staggering and dealing with damage. We prefer using weapons that focus more on her physical stats because of this:
- Leather Gloves: Solid attack stat.
- Jarngreipr: Good materia slots, stats, and True Strike ability. Our favorite of the group.
Best Weapons for Barret
Barret is all about long-range attacks. He has some magical utility, so it comes down to what you prefer for his best weapons.
- Hi-Caliber Rifle: This is for pure physical damage and almost nothing else.
- Battle Cry: High stats, solid materia slots, and Turbulent Spirit are good stances.
Best Weapons for Yuffie in FFVII Rebirth
Yuffie is one of the fastest fighters in the group. She also has great versatility and is able to fight up close and from afar. Here are our favorite weapons for her:
- Twin Viper: For those who want to focus on her stats.
- Bird of Prey: Still has pretty good stats, but also great for materia slots.
Best Weapons for Red XIII
Red XIII is super fast and an excellent choice when it comes to staggering and dealing damage. Here are the weapons we prefer to use for him in FFVII Rebirth:
- Golden Collar: One of the highest pure physical attack stats in the game.
- Brisingamen: Good stats, especially in magic, but also a lot of materia slots.
Best Weapons for Cait Sith in FFVII Rebirth
Cait Sith is one of the most flexible characters in the group. He can be a tank, a summoner, or even a magical caster. Here are the weapons we prefer for him:
- Yellow Megaphone: Good stats for physical attackers.
- Golden Megaphone: Amazing for using Cait Sith as a mage.
- Crystal Megaphone: Decent stats, but use this at least long enough to unlock his Moogle Magic ability, which is amazing since it lets you use summon abilities without summoning.
