The best Striker Loadout in MW3 Explained

The Striker 9 is the superior version of the Striker, which I don’t necessarily recommend as an alternative to the Rival 9 in Ranked Play and other multiplayer modes. The core of the Striker 9 is balance. It trades the range and speed of some of the other weapons for a jack-of-all-trades style of play. It is all-around a great gun when it comes to its distance, damage, fire rate, and more. But my favorite part is its renowned accuracy.

As such, here is the best Striker loadout in MW3 you should be using if you pick up this weapon:

  • Barrel: Striker Stubby Barrel
  • Muzzle: Purifier Muzzle Break
  • Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
  • Stock: RB Crotalus Assault Stock

The goal of this particular loadout is to emphasize the steady nature of this weapon. It will be potentially the most accurate SMG in the game, which is helpful when you are up close or even firing from afar.

Should you use the Striker 9 after the Rival 9 nerf?

The main reason a lot of players may be wanting to know the best Striker loadout in MW3 right now is due to the recent Rival 9 nerf. The Rival 9 is still my personal favorite SMG in the game, but it is far from the powerhouse it was before. Other SMGs are now much more viable than ever before, and that goes for the Striker 9 with this best loadout. Try it out in Ranked Play and other modes to see how it works out for you.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
