In Nikke: Goddess of Victory, the game requires just as much strategic planning from players as it does raw skill. Here is your guide to building an excellent early team comp in Nikke: Goddess of Victory.
How to build a good Team Comp in Nikke: Goddess of Victory
Prior to building your first team, you should know the basics of team composition. Naturally, your team should possess a wide variety of weapons, such as shotguns, snipers, and rockets. Each type has a specific use in battle when dealing with different types of foes.
More importantly, you must have at least one level I, II, and III burst-unit on your team. This is because using all three in succession will activate Full Burst, which has devastating combat power. With over 100 Nikkes in the game, there are countless team comp possibilities you can take advantage of.
Best early game Team Comp in Nikke: Goddess of Victory
Below is a basic team comp to get you through the game’s early content. As the game progresses, however, you will continue to pick up stronger Nikkes with even greater potential, so stay on the lookout. Feel free to add your own spin on this template as well!
Here is a recommended comp in Nikke: Goddess of Victory for covering all major fields:
Rapi
While Rapi is one of the earlier Nikkes the game provides, she is still a very useful starter unit. Her assault rifle gives her the ability to maintain constant heat on enemies. Her III Burst Skill, Warhead Volley, is also good for leveling the playing field by targeting the foe with the strongest attack stat.
Anis
Just like Rapi, players receive Anis at the very beginning of the game. While her rocket launcher is slow, it makes up for that with how it packs a punch against tankier foes. While rocket launcher units may be tempting, they are held back by their low speed and accuracy.
Because she is the only II Burst in this team comp, having a relatively short cooldown will give you significantly more chances to achieve Full Burst.
Soldier EG
While Soldier EG is another assault rifle user like Rapi, the balanced nature of this weapon makes it a perfect backup. Additionally, she possesses a high ammo capacity, allowing her to keep pressure on enemies for a longer amount of time. Her III Burst, Eagle Shot, is an effective choice as it will give one final blow to all enemies within range.
Ether
Both Ether and Neon serve as strong contenders for the best shotgun ally. Ether earns the title with her defensive capabilities. While it is tempting to build a fully offensive team, it won’t last long without at least one guardian. Her I Burst ability, Colossal Single Cell, will shield your allies with low health. This will help start your combo by ensuring your allies are safe while they give opponents hell.
Exia
Lastly, as with all shooter games, the sniper class is essential to your team. In Nikke: Goddess of Victory, nearly all enemies possess a “weak spot” that a sniper can strike. Her Burst I ability overcomes the narrowly focused nature of the sniper class by targeting up to ten foes with the highest defense at once. This will give you a heavy advantage at the start of your burst.
