Ben Starr, the voice actor for Final Fantasy XVI lead Clive Rosfield, shared a video with his final line recorded for the game. However, people don’t need to worry about spoilers, because it doesn’t involve any hints about the events of the upcoming The Rising Tide DLC.
Here’s the video Starr shared. While it is his last line in-character as Clive, it isn’t actually a line of dialogue. Rather, it is instead a battle cry or shout.
There’s only one bit of new content on the way for Final Fantasy XVI that will involve Clive Rosfield and Ben Starr, and that’s the Leviathan story DLC. It currently has a Spring 2024 release window. We will get to learn more about it soon, however. Square Enix is bringing the game to PAX East 2024. There will be a panel on March 22, 2024, and it will go over what’s next for the RPG. While Starr will not be at that event, Producer Naoki Yoshida, DLC Director Takeo Kujiraoka, and Localization Director Michael-Christopher Koji Fox will. That will also be streamed on Twitch and YouTube, for people unable to be there to learn about the add-on in person.
Final Fantasy XVI is available on the PlayStation 5. A demo is available. It will also come to the PC. When it does, there will also be a trial for it.
