Beams Will Sell Pokemon TCG x Yu Nagaba Goods

From May 20, 2023, Beams will release merchandise of the Pokemon TCG and Yu Nagaba collaboration in Japan. Prices will start from 500 JPY (which is around $3.75). As an apparel store, Beams will mostly sell items like T-shirts from the collaboration, though there is also the chance to get a random promotion card with art from Yu Nagaba on it. All of the shirts will contain references to the TCG beyond the Eevees that Yu Nagaba drew for this collaboration. For example, the back of one T-shirt contains the back design of a Pokemon TCG card, and the front of it has the Energy card symbols.

Here is a list of the items that’ll be available, along with their prices:

• Pin: 500 JPY each
• Day Pack: 29,700 JPY
• Sunny Day Bag: 17600 JPY
• Tailmate Bag: 15400 JPY

For the bags and T-shirts, we can customize them with cloth badges. As mentioned earlier, purchasing one of these items will allow you to get a random Pokemon TCG card. In total, there are nine options. They are all Eeveeolutions with that feature Yu Nagaba’s art.

This is not the first time that Yu Nagaba has collaborated with The Pokemon Company. In 2022, he designed Pikachu patterns for Pokemon Shirts. He also drew the Pokemon that appeared in the Ed Sheeran “Celestial” music video, which came out for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

We will see the Pokemon TCG and Yu Nagaba collection appear in Beams stores in Japan from May 20, 2023.
