Bayonetta Demo Bursts Out Next Week

Itching to try Bayonetta? Get your Japan region accounts ready! Sega will release a demo on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on October 8.

PlatinumGames packed a tutorial, The Falling Clock Tower (prologue stage) and The Angel’s Metropolis (Chapter 1) into a 770MB Xbox Live download. PlayStation 3 owners only has the Tutorial and The Angel’s Metropolis level. The PSN demo is a bit heftier too, weighing in at 1,196MB.

Sega’s announcement also came with screenshots — just in case you want to compare how the game looks before you have a chance to play both versions. The Xbox 360 version is on top and the PlayStation 3 version is on the bottom.

Bayonetta comes out in Japan on October 29 and is slated for January in North America.
