Larian Games revealed Baldur’s Gate III Twitch Drops in honor of the full release of the game on PC. Players have the chance to stream and watch some of their favorite content creators check out the new RPG while earning some exclusive rewards in the process. Things start on August 3, 2023, following the full release’s debut.
The Baldur’s Gate III Twitch Drops include the free Camp Clothing Set DLC that you can’t get anywhere else. This set of clothing is for your protagonist in the game to wear during their frequent visits to the campsite.
Here are the items you’ll get with this purple, Bard-like regal set:
- Chatterbox’s Tabard
- Streamhopper Loafers
- Periwinkle Undergarments
- Channeler’s Trunks
You can’t unlock or purchase these items anywhere else. If you want to collect them, you’ll have to spend some time on Twitch.
How to Earn the Baldur’s Gate III Twitch Drops
The only way to earn the new Baldur’s Gate III Twitch Drops at release is to watch partnered Twitch streamers for at least two hours in total. You can spend those two hours however you like. You can watch one streamer you like for 30 minutes, another for an hour, and a third for 30 minutes to make up that required time.
The game keeps track of all of your watch progress, so long as the streamers you’re watching have official Twitch Drops enabled. The catch is you have a limited amount of time to do this. The launch celebration only lasts on Twitch from August 3, 2023 at 9am PT/12pm ET/6pm CET to August 17, 2023 at 9am PT/12pm ET/6pm CET.
If you want to take advantage of this promotion, start by heading to this site here. There, you’ll want to sign into your Larian account, then your Twitch account, to connect the two to one another. Make sure to be signed into Twitch while you are watching various creators play the game.
Don’t worry if you don’t own the game yet, either. While the game isn’t even out yet on PS5, you can still take advantage of this promotion and hold onto the DLC code until you have the game for yourself to redeem it.
Baldur’s Gate III is available for the PC and will release for PS5 on September 6, 2023.
