A sequel to the original Baki series that appeared on Netflix in 2018, Baki Hanma is an adaptation of the manga’s third series, Baki: Son of Ogre. The first season of Baki Hanma streamed exclusively on Netflix back in September 2021. Furthermore, the series is also currently airing on televisions in Japan, with the first season coming to a close.

The first season depicted fights between various opponents, including an imaginary 100kg big praying mantis. The second season will cover the Pickle Wars Saga, leading up to the ultimate fight against Baki’s father. Baki will face off against Pickle, a primitive man that was found preserved in a saline rock. The new teaser images show off Pickle, as well as scenes with Baki’s father Yujiro Hanma and Kaiou Retsu.
