Azur Lane Tallinn Will Get a New Mobile Life in the Vanguard Fleet

Azur Lane SN Tallinn

The Japanese Azur Lane Twitter account has introduced SN Tallinn, one of the new shipgirls that will join the Soviet-inspired Northern Parliament faction through the “Khorovod of Dawn’s Rime” event. Tallinn is described as valuing regulations and roles. She also desires to take the initiative at all times because of her status to fight as a shipgirl but also her own true feelings.

Just like Murmansk, Tallinn is not a native Russian ship. Originally named Lützow, she was the fifth ship of the Admiral Hipper-class heavy cruisers. The German Kriegsmarine agreed to sell her to the Soviet Navy in February 1940, after which she received the name Petropavlovsk.

Although she was sunk when Germany invaded the USSR in 1941, she was raised, repaired, and reborn as Tallinn. However, her construction never completed. After World War II ended, she was used as a stationary training ship and barracks until her eventual scrapping. However, as Azur Lane puts cruisers in the mobile Vanguard Fleet, we will see Tallinn move frequently in both PvE stages and PvP exercises.

As for the other ships in the same class, Admiral Hipper and Prinz Eugen have been long available in Azur Lane. The fourth ship, Seydlitz, also appeared as the converted carrier Weser in the “Inverted Orthant” event. This leaves the second ship, Blücher, as the only ship in the class yet to be included in the game’s roster.

Azur Lane is available on Android and iOS mobile devices. The game’s latest event “Khorovod of Dawn’s Rime” will be held from February 25 to March 12, 2021.
