Yostar confirmed that Dead or Alive‘s Honoka will get a Battleship rigging when she joins the Azur Lane Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation collaboration’s roster. Previously, it confirmed a BB rigging—as well as a shrine maiden outfit as default attire—for Nagisa.
Honoka made her debut in the 2015 fighting game Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. Together with Marie Rose, the two became the new icons for the Dead or Alive franchise—including the Xtreme subseries. They have also been extensively featured in collaborations with other titles, such as Warriors All-Stars and Senran Kagura.
In Azur Lane, battleships stay behind at the Main Fleet while loading their main guns for salvos that will be targeted towards the front of the player-controlled Vanguard Fleet. This means Honoka and Nagisa will fill two of the three available Main Fleet slots in a Dead or Alive character fleet.

Yostar also confirmed that Marie Rose will receive a Destroyer rigging. Destroyers generally have a small amount of HP, but they are nimble and usually excel at using torpedoes and anti-submarine armaments. She will be assigned to the Vanguard Fleet along with Misaki, who will have a Light Cruiser rigging.

The Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation collaboration event in Azur Lane, the popular naval shipgirl combat game available worldwide on Android and iOS devices, will begin on November 26, 2020.
