Azur Lane Announces Dead or Alive Collaboration and More at English 2nd Anniversary

Yostar held a live stream today to celebrate the second anniversary of Azur Lane‘s English version, where they announced a collaboration between Azur Lane and Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation among others. Azur Lane is a popular mobile shoot-em-up RPG featuring personifications of World War 2-era warships, which was first launched in English-speaking regions on August 16, 2018.

Prior to this announcement, Azur Lane had held collaborations with titles like Hyperdimension Neptunia and Vtubers such as Kizuna AI and the Hololive group. Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation also held collaborations with other external titles such as Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link and Alice Gear Aegis. More details on this new collaboration will be published at a later date.

Other than the collaboration news, Yostar also revealed new content that will be coming soon to the English version of Azur Lane to celebrate its second anniversary, which includes costumes for USS Indianapolis, USS Independence, HMS Cheshire, HMS Drake, and IJN Amagi. An oath costume for KMS Z23 is also available today in English regions. The rerun of Scherzo of Iron and Blood will be held from August 20, 2020, to September 3, 2020, and it will add two new characters: the submarine KMS U96 and the destroyer KMS Z26.

Azur Lane is available for iOS and Android devices worldwide, while Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation is available for PC in Japan and Asia.
