Having lost his job to a robot, Spark finds a great opportunity to get his revenge at Sonic the Hedgehog-like speeds when machines try to take over the world in Spark the Electric Jester.
Spark will run at speeds familiar to Sonic fans, rushing across maps and through loop-the-loops. Spark is also mad about his lost job, though, and can take out his aggressions on the machines in his path by bowling them over, rapidly punching them, and smashing them with a huge hammer, having many different tools to beat down robots when not running.
Having drawn from Genesis-era games for its look and personality, Spark the Electric Jester also features extra 90’s cool mechanics, like surfing segments, to add more variety to its stages.
Spark the Electric Jester was developed by Feperd Games, whose lead developed a handful of Sonic fan games like Sonic Chrono Adventure. They have utilized those skills honed on working with Sonic’s speed, using it to create their own fast-paced title.
Spark the Electric Jester is available now on Steam. A demo is available on the game’s old Kickstarter page for players who wish to try it first.
