Square Enix has a new Final Fantasy VII Remake starter set for pre-order for its trading card game, the Avalanche VS Shinra Two-Player Starter Set. The latest addition features characters like Jessie, Barret, Reno, and Tseng. The new starter set will release in October 2021.

The Avalanche VS Shinra collection will come with two premade decks. Each deck will have 50 cards and a quick start guide. Players can hit the ground running with a fire and earth element deck of Avalanche members like Jessie and Barret, and an ice and lightning element deck of Shinra-affiliated characters like The Turks. Additionally, each deck will contain three copies each of five brand new cards, including Rufus and Cloud Strife. One copy of Cloud and Rufus will be a full art card.

In related news for the series, Square Enix recently announced a three-disc soundtrack for its upcoming expansion, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. The company also clarified recent acquisition rumors reported by Bloomberg Japan with its own statement.

Priced at $24.99, the Avalanche VS Shinra trading card game starter set is available for pre-order and set to launch in October 2021. Square Enix also has its previous starter set for the trading card game for sale featuring Cloud and Sephiroth.
