By During the Japanese edition of this morning’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo showed of gameplay footage from Spike Chunsoft’s upcoming Attack on Titan game for the Nintendo 3DS. Take a look at the footage below, courtesy Nintendomination:

As detailed in previous reports, Attack on Titan will be a multiplayer game that allows for up to four players. In story mode, Eren, Mikasa and Armin are confirmed as playable characters. Meanwhile, in multiplayer mode, you get to create your own character.
Should a Titan grab one of your allies, you’ll be able to rescue your partner by cutting the Titan’s arm off. Attack on Titan is slated for release on December 5th in Japan.
