Atlus Survey Gauges Interest in Persona Switch Ports

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The idea of more Persona Switch games might not be too far off. A new consumer survey from Atlus suggests the company could be considering them. This survey always asks potential buyers to offer insight into their favorite Atlus games and desired purchases. The 2020 survey has a question dedicated to Nintendo Switch ports, with lots of Persona Switch games mentioned.

The question that references Persona Switch games comes up fairly late in the survey. Once you hit the 47th question, it asks the possible shopper which Atlus ports someone would want to play on the Switch. The first five options are all Persona games. Specifically, it asks about Revelations: Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, Persona 3/Persona 3 FES/Persona 3 Portable, both Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, and finally Persona Q.

After that, the rest of the suggestions come from other notable Atlus series. Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, Shin Megami Tensei IV, and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse all come up. So do both Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers and the Raidou Kuzunoha line. The Etrian Odyssey series appears too. Vanillaware titles, such as 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Dragon’s Crown Pro, and Odin Sphere Leifthrasir are on the list. Finally, some miscellaneous games like Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner and Catherine: Full Body are listed.

This Atlus survey will be online until February 12, 2020. It is entirely in Japanese. Currently, Persona 5 Scramble is the only Persona Switch game on the way. It will arrive on February 20, 2020 in Japan, though a demo is immediately available.
