Odin Sphere Leifthrasir has five main characters, and players go through each of their stories to learn the truth about what’s happening in the world prior to Ragnarok. Gwendolyn, a valkyrie, is one of those stars, and Atlus’ latest video reintroduces the world to Odin’s daughter.
Given that she’s Odin’s daughter, she’s also one of Ragnanival’s princesses. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir begins with her inheriting her older sister Griselda’s Psypher Spear, following her death in a battle for the Crystallization Cauldron. She faces an identity crisis during the game, as she tries to earn her father’s love and decide what to do with her life.
In Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, players will be able to access skill trees for each character. Gwendolyn’s has speak and ice abilities. She can harness the power of winter with an Icicle Wave or freezing Pain Feathers. She can also make spears rain down with Comet Spear. Her ultimate skill is Gungnir, known as the “All-Piercing God Spear.”
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will come to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on June 7, 2016.
