Atelier Annie Localization Only Has Japanese Voices

NIS America is bringing Atelier Annie: Alchemists of Sera Island to North America in October, but they aren’t dubbing the game. Unlike all of the other Gust localizations, Atelier Annie will only have Japanese voice acting. Players who prefer not to listen to the track have the option of turning the voices off.

It’s unclear if NIS America decided to go with only Japanese voice acting due to limited DS cartridge space or if there was a budget issue. After all, Atelier Annie is a niche game and more niche games are coming over to North America without an English dub these days. Yakuza 2, Onechanbara, and Muramasa: The Demon Blade are some titles starting this trend.

Thanks for the tip and uploading the trailer Volcynika!!
