Assassin’s Creed Unity Collector’s Edition Announced

As reported earlier today, Assassin’s Creed Unity takes place in Paris during the French Revolution, and Ubisoft have announced further details on the game.

Assassin’s Creed Unity will have you playing as Arno, a young assassin who is drawn into the Assassin’s Order and finds himself a part of the struggle for control of France. Ubisoft say you’ll be able to customize Arno using different outfits, equipment and weapons to suit your playstyle.

You’ll be able to pick whether you want to be a character that deals and absorbs heavy damage or whether you’d prefer to sacrifice strength for stealth and agility.

In addition to the previously reported co-op system added to the game, Ubisoft say they’ve rebuilt Assassin’s Creed Unity’s combat and navigation systems from the ground up.

Assassin’s Creed Unity will be available on October 28th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. At launch, Ubisoft will release a collector’s edition that includes the following items:

  • Figure of Arno poised atop a gargoyle
  • Music box that plays a remixed version of the Unity theme
  • Official soundtrack
  • Art book
  • Collector’s game box
  • Two in-game missions

Additionally, pre-ordering the game will give you access to an exclusive single-player mission with a bonus 30 minutes of content. In the mission, titled “The Chemical Revolution,” you’ll help the Father of Modern Chemistry, Antoine Lavoisier, escape his captors and recover his poison bomb formula.
