Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation protagonist Aveline will be returning in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Ubisoft have announced.
Aveline, who originally debuted in the aforementioned PlayStation Vita game, will appear in missions exclusive to the PS3 version of Assassin’s Creed IV.
In Assassin’s Creed IV, Aveline is older than she was in Liberation. “It’s not directly related to the end of her story,” says lead writer Darby McDevitt. “If Assassin’s Creed IV is like a novel, Aveline’s missions are like a short story.”
Aveline will appear in three missions in Assassin’s Creed IV, making up about an hour of content. The game is slated for release this fall.
