Shao Jun’s story is going to be told again. Another Assassin’s Creed manga adaptation has been announced. Shogakukan announced on Twitter that Assassin’s Creed China’s run will begin in the November Sunday GX volume and act as an adaptation of the events of the game. Minoji Kurata, who wrote and drew Shosei Katsuragi Shinjirou no Nichijou and Tenkyuu wa Haruka: Keigetsu Den, is its creator.

In Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, players followed Shao Jun. She’s the last surviving member of the Chinese branch of assassins, due to the Eight Tigers Templars wiping everyone else out. After training with Ezio Auditore da Firenze, she returns home to get revenge for her fallen allies and defeat the Templars.

This is actually the second Assassin’s Creed manga adaptation. Assassin’s Creed: Awakening, an adaptation of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, was written by Takashi Yano and illustrated by Kenzi Oiwa. It was eventually released digitally and physically in English. No English localization has been announced yet for this adaptation.

The November 2019 issue of Shogakukan’s Sunday GX will be available in October 2019. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Its prequel film, Assassin’s Creed: Embers, is also immediately available.
