ArtPlay Still Working on Content for Bloodstained, Sequel in Early Development

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Artplay Sequel

With recent news that a Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel is on the way, the official ArtPlay and Bloodstained Twitter accounts have made statements, clarifying what the studio is currently working on. While a sequel is currently in production, the studio is still working on the promised content for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. In the tweet from the official account, the studio clarifies that they will be completing said content for consumers.

Additionally, the tweet mentions that the developers have a lot planned for players of the game. Koji Igarashi, one of the founders of ArtPlay, also took to Twitter. He mentions that ArtPlay is currently working on the scenario for the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel. As it stands, the studio is in the very early stages of development for the upcoming title.

Since its release, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has added a plethora of optional content. This has included the implementation of a “classic” mode. This mode completely changes the way that Miriam moves and uses her abilities. Other added content has included the addition of a second playable character.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.
