Arnold Schwarzenegger will meet with Yo-kai Watch’s Robonyan to promote Terminator Genisys in Japan. Robonyan—who Western audiences will be familiar with soon enough—is one of several “nyan” characters in the game, and is a robot. (Thanks, Anime News Network)

 

“The Terminator T-800, who comes to protect [those in need] no matter what trouble they’re in, is still my hero,” said Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino. “I never would’ve thought that Robonyan would be able to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger. I think [Robonyan]’s also quite happy.”

 

Terminator Genisys premieres on July 1st, with a Japanese limited premiere taking place on July 6th, followed by a full release on July 10th.
