Tyrant King Vandheer has overtaken the world of Blackmist, having already succeeded in stomping out all possible interference. The world, in pain, calls upon the Divine ones, who bring back a lone samurai who will have to fight through waves of armored beasts, warriors, and mercenaries.

Players will guide the samurai in 2D combat, using the sword, as well as the power of lightning, to cut their foes into mist. The King has a lot of enemies to throw at the player, which is why it’s handy that the player also has an eagle companion they can control. This bird can fly ahead to check out the terrain and oncoming foes, giving the player an idea on how to progress.

Armed with Wings: Rearmed offers players forty crafted levels, each containing hidden items and multiple opportunities to experience its smooth, animated combat. It is available now on Steam (with a demo players can try on Newgrounds), and is also in development for Xbox One and PS4.
