Skullgirls 2nd Encore New Character Annie of the Stars

The latest character to join the roster of Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be Annie of the Stars. While it was already previously announced that she would join the roster at some point in 2021, developers Hidden Variable have narrowed down that window of release. Annie of the Stars will appear in Skullgirls 2nd Encore in early 2021. Alongside this teaser trailer, Hidden Zero has teased an upcoming new character to Skullgirls 2nd Encore.

Annie will be available through the Steam client on PC first for early access. Once the developers have made enough tweaks to be satisfied with the character, the announcement for the complete release of the DLC on other platforms will follow. You can watch the teaser trailer below.

Additionally, the developers have confirmed another character will join Skullgirls 2nd Encore. At the end of the Annie of the Stars teaser trailer, viewers were provided a confirmation that another character is currently in the works. The official forum post from Hidden Variable mentions that more information about this brand new character will appear sometime in the future. Alongside this, the official forum post links to three images and encourages users to speculate on who or what this new addition may be.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore is available for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.
