During the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct today, Nintendo introduced the Airport – the main means that players will get to play together.

By talking to Orville at the Airport, you’ll be able to invite other friends from other deserted islands over, or fly over to their island. As previously revealed, up to eight players can play together on one island.
Additionally, players can send postcards at the Airport, allowing players to interact with residents by creating a custom message and postcard theme. Some postcards are limited-time only.
