Animal Crossing: New Horizons Festivale Event Update Dated

Many of the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons updates involve holidays, and the latest is no exception. On January 28, 2021, the promised late January update will appear. The primary focus here is on two special events in February 2021. Basically, we’ll see Animal Crossing: New Horizons Festivale and Valentine’s Day-related items and activities. Then, in March 2021, even more will be added.

The Valentine’s Day efforts are more low key. People will be able to get themed items from Nook Shopping. These are seasonal and will only appear February 1-14, 2021. There will also be Groundhog Day and Superbowl-themed items in that shop too.

As for Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Festivale events, there will be things to buy and do. Both Nook’s Cranny and Able Sisters will sell items beginning February 1, 2021. Viva Festival Reaction Set gives you new Reactions to express your emotions. There will also be hats, dresses, and outfits.

On Festivale itself, which is February 15, 2021, Pave will appear. As in past games, you’ll use your net to catch feathers in the air. Pave will take them and offer you rewards in return.

Here’s the full trailer looking at the new event, outfits, and reactions.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch, and the Festivale update will arrive on January 28, 2021. The next update will appear in March 2021.
