The reason for the re-release of this plush is the future inclusion of Brewster into Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The character will appear in the game sometime in November as an addition to the museum. An upcoming Animal Crossing Direct will reveal more information about this update. The broadcast will last for roughly 20 minutes and feature the latest information about Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Additionally, a new line of Animal Crossing Flocky Dolls is available. The line includes reoccurring characters from the series, like Timmy and Tommy, and new characters introduced through Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This range includes Raymond and CJ. The previous line featured Dom, Marshal, Tom Nook, Isabelle, and Rex. The Animal Crossing Flocky Dolls are immediately available to purchase.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is immediately available for Nintendo Switch.
