What is going on in this image? Good question. Knights in the Nightmare is a unique game so this screenshot deserves an explanation.

This is from the tactics set up where players position stoic warriors and equip them with weapons. In this game you don’t control the knights directly. You are a blinking light called a wisp that awakens the warriors. Each time you use a knight in battle it looses a bit of vitality. When its vitality runs out the knight is gone forever… unless you sacrifice another knight’s soul through the transoul system to restore its vitality. Atlus didn’t send us any transoul screens so we’ll talk about that another time.
