By Activision have shared a trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the upcoming game based on the movie of the same name. Making his debut in the game will be Kraven the Hunter, one of Spider-Man’s better-known villains, and he’s in the trailer, too.
Like the first game, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be inspired by its movie counterpart, but will be set in its own continuity, and will introduce events and villains not seen in the movie. Part of the game will involve the player taking on investigations as Peter Parker.
Manhattan will return as the game’s locale once more, and will be a free-roaming environment like it was in the first game.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is in development for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The game will be available this spring.
