Alternate Prinny Switch Game Covers Parody Other NIS America Games

A Prinny Switch game debut is upon us. Fall 2020 will bring with it Prinny 1-2: Exploded and Reloaded, a collection of both of the punishingly hard, 2.5D games starring Disgaea’s Prinnies and perennial NIS side character Asagi. To help prepare, NIS America is offering up an alternate cover vote that also acts as a contest for people in North America. Voting is now open on the official website until May 15, 2020.

People have four options to choose to make the other side of the Prinny Switch game’s cover. The fun thing is, each one is a callback to another NIS America title. The current leader in votes, as of May 6, 2020, is Pringaea: Hour of Sleep, Dood!, a callback to the original Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Coming in second at the moment is Labyrinth of Sardines: Coven of Darkness, Dood! (Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk). The void pRrLM(); Void Prinarium (void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium) and Prinny-Punching Etna (Penny-Punching Princess) ones are in third and fourth.

Here are all four of the alternate Prinny Switch game covers.

As for the contest, there will be five winners chosen from entrants in the United States and Canada. The grand prize winner will get a Prinny ita-backpack, Prinny parade tote bag, Pinny Arcade Prinny pin, Prinny radicals coaster set, and spring break giclee. The first prize winner will get the Prinny ita-backpack, tote bag, pin, and coaster set. Finally, the three second-to-fourth prize winners will get the ita-backpack, tote bag, and pin.

Prinny 1-2: Exploded and Reloaded will come to the Nintendo Switch in Fall 2020. Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero and Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! both originally appeared on the PlayStation Portable worldwide.
