How to get Perks in Modern Warfare 3
Perks (known in-game as Perk-A-Colas) are consumable items in Modern Warfare 3: Zombies that will each give players a significant advantage. You can find Perk-A-Colas at Perk-A-Cola Machines. While there are dozens of potential spawn points for these machines, only a few will be on the map.
At these machines, players must spend essence. Players earn essence by killing zombies and completing contracts. The image below contains the available perks.
Ranking the Best Perks in Modern Warfare 3
Here is the ranking of Perks in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. While many have universal use, others are more situational.
- Tombstone Soda: This cola grants you a tombstone to recover your valuables on the map if you die. While Dark Souls players can see the use of this, you have to die first for it to be helpful. Because of this, there is little immediate benefit.
- Deadshot Daiquiri: This cola will expose critical weak spots when you aim down the sights. This is best against single formidable enemies that are usually tough to take down but not against waves of weaker foes.
- PHD Flopper: This cola will create an explosion when you dive from high places, ignoring fall damage. While this is powerful, it is limited in its use, given that you need a high ledge above the target for it to work.
- Death Perception: This cola allows players to spot hidden enemies or loot. While this is useful in the long run, it does not have an immediate combat advantage, nor are hidden enemies that common of a threat. Of course, this still has situational use in finding loot.
- Speed Cola: This cola increases your speed in reloading and replacing armor. Because the time it takes to reload leaves you vulnerable, this becomes a considerable advantage.
- Quick Revive: This cola doubles your speed in recovering health and reviving teammates. This is powerful, given how often you and your allies will be under fire. Therefore, have one team member use this for large team battles.
- Stamin-Up: This cola boosts your stamina and running speed. Obviously, this is good for running from zombies and keeping up with the constant demand for action. This item is also helpful due to the scale of the arena’s size.
- Jugger-Nog: This one has the most straightforward benefit, giving you more maximum health. The advantage of this one is simple yet effective. This is especially true given the more situational benefits of the others shown.
- Elemental Pop: This is the best of the Perk-A-Colas as it will give every bullet you fire a small chance of having a random ammo mod. For those unaware, the ammo mods in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies each have powerful, game-changing effects. These include slowing enemies to outright turning zombies on each other. As such, this is easily the most useful Perk-A-Cola in Zombies.
