To unlock the new Legend of Korra skin in Fortnite, you will need to obtain four Mythic Items to complete Page 1 of her character quests. This guide will break down where to find all Mythic Items in Fortnite and show you how to complete the “Collect Mythic Items” quest for Korra.
What are the Mythic Items in Fortnite Korra Quest
As of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, there are a total of six Mythic Items you can collect. So if you are looking at completing the “Collect Mythic Items” Korra quest, you are going to have to pick up at least four of these. Thankfully you don’t have to do this all in one match. In fact, it’s a lot easier to do this in multiple sessions, given the quest can be a bit buggy.
Below is a list of the Mythic Items in Fortnite that count towards your Korra quest and where to find them:
- Ares’ Warforged Assault Rifle
- Brawler’s Battleground (Defeat Ares’ boss fight)
- Zeus’ Huntress DMR
- Mount Olympus (Defeat Zeus boss fight)
- Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun
- Grim Gate (Defeat Cerberus boss fight)
- Hades’ Harbinger SMG
- The Underworld (Defeat Hades boss fight)
- Midas’ Drum Gun
- Marigold Yacht (Purchase from Midas for 600 Gold Bars)
- Thunderbolt of Zeus
- Random drop in Chests and Overworld Spawns)
- Waterbending
- Random drop in Chests and Overworld Spawns)
How to Collect Mythic Items in Fortnite Korra Quest
The easiest way to complete the Collect Mythic Items Korra quest in Fortnite is to find the Thunderbolt of Zeus or Waterbending scroll. Both Mythic Items can be found in any chest on the map and can even be found as an overworld drop. So, if you play enough games, you should be able to stumble upon them sooner rather than later. However, if you don’t want to leave things up to random chance, there are five locations in Fortnite with a guaranteed Mythic Item.
Starting with Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, there are four Gods you can battle at the Underworld, Grim Gate, Mount Olympus, or Brawler’s Battleground locations. Defeating these boss fights will guarantee you a Mythic Item and a Medallion. You can also drop on the Marigold Yacth east of The Underworld and Grim Gate and purchase a Mythic Drum Gun from Midas’ for 600 Gold Bars.
Below is a map of where you can get Mythic Items in Fortnite:
As I mentioned above, obtaining Mythic Items at these locations might be difficult. These are key spots on the map where tons of players will be dropping in at the same time. An easier method is to just play a match and look for a Thunderbolt of Zeus in a random chest or location on the map. Although they are a random drop, so you may have to explore a bit before you can pick one up.
With the debut of Korra in Fortnite, the battle royale also received the new Waterbending Mythic Item. This golden scroll will give you the power of the Avatar and let you bend water at opponents. Just like the Thunderbolt of Zeus, this Mythic Item can be found in random chests or overworld drops.
You may have to participate in multiple matches to complete the “Collect Mythic Items” Korra quest. For some reason, my game wouldn’t register me picking up two different Thunderbolt of Zeus items during the same match. You might also have to earn the Mythic Items yourself for them to count. For example, I killed an opponent who had Ares’ Warforged Assault Rifle, and for some reason, my quest didn’t register it.
After completing the “Collect Mythic Items” Korra quest, you unlock the Avatar’s Descent Contrail in Fortnite. If you are a fan of the Legend of Korra or The Last Airbender, this is a really cool item to add to your account. When you drop into a match from the party bus, you will have the four elements swirling around you like you’ve gone into the Avatar State.
Fortnite is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mobile.
