The Kamen Rider TV series began in Japan way back in 1971, which means that, this year, the franchise turns 40.

As part of their celebration of the event, Namco Bandai are releasing a new Kamen Rider title for the Nintendo DS, titled All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation.

This will cover the following: Kamen Rider, V3, X, Amazon, Stronger, Kamen Rider (New), Super 1, ZX, Black, Black RX, Prologue, ZO, J, Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, 555, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, Decade, W and 000.

Phew. That’s a lot of Kamen Rider. Rider Generation is a side-scrolling game that is planned for release on August 4th for 5,040 yen. A limited edition containing 28 different slip-on covers of different Riders for the game (printed across both sides of 14 sheets) will also be available.
