International Debut – Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F was first released in North America on August 27, 2013 on PlayStation 3 with Europe following suit days later on September 3, 2013. The PlayStation Vita version came out about six months later in North America and Europe in March 2014.

Round Two – Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd

The next Hatsune Miku game to appear in English is simply titled Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd and followed through after the success of its predecessor. New Type of Gameplay – Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X

As the 10th overall entry in Sega’s Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series, X is a unique entry that really makes it stand out to celebrate 10 games featuring Hatsune Miku. Its rhythm game track may play like the other Project DIVA games, but features a cute visual novel-type story. It focuses on journeying through five clouds that involve taking five unique traits and providing different in-game missions. Released on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, this title came out on the same day in Europe and North America on August 30, 2016.

In a Home Near You – Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is perhaps the most polished and gorgeous Hatsune Miku game both visually and gameplay-wise. It showed up on the PlayStation 4 in January 2017. The game is separated into three sections and has an extensive library thanks to DLC being added after launch. Prelude is a free-to-play download, which PlayStation owners can use to try out two songs from the game. Then there are the Future Sound and Colorful Tone song packs, offering more content for fans who find the game worthwhile.

Catching The Wave – Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix started as a Switch exclusive in May 2020, then also appeared as Mega Mix+ on the PC in May 2022. This Nintendo 3DS title came out in September 2015 in North America and Europe. Mobile Time – Miku Flick

As a mobile exclusive, Miku Flick is as straightforward as can be for a game on iOS and Android devices. Released a month after Japan’s April 2012 debut, it is a spin-off of Project DIVA. Miku Flick is a simplified version of the franchise given its use of smaller screens and touchscreen gameplay. A sequel eventually came out months later, released worldwide in August 2012. Miku Flick and its sequel are no longer listed in the App Store and Google Play Store. Despite this, gameplay footage still exists on YouTube.

Into Our World – Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live
