The ghost locations in Chapter 3 of RKGK are often hidden down secret paths. These paths aren’t always obvious, though, so you may need some help to find them.
All Ghost Locations in Violet Zone
At one point in the level, you’ll go through a door and encounter a grappling hook that you’ll need to use to reach the next ledge. As soon as you land, turn around, and you’ll notice a higher ledge and another grapple hook above the one you just used. Use it to grapple to the higher ledge to spot a ghost floating above two pillars, which you can wall jump up to reach.
Soon after the first ghost, you’ll reach an open area full of enemies, with a screen to the right behind some fire hazards. This area has a blue crystal sitting out in the open. Touch it while facing away from the screen to start a red coin race. Collect all the coins, crossing a gap along the way, to collect the second ghost.
This level features a circuit where you will loop around to open a door you would have previously passed. Once this door is open, head through it and look for the third ghost on a lower platform at the end of this ledge.
All Ghost Locations in Crimson Zone
Right at the start of the level, look to your right. Jump over to these platforms to find an optional platforming route that takes you up to a ghost behind a fence. Follow the coins to dash and glide around this fence to collect the ghost.
You’ll reach an area with shallow water sections on the ground. Look up to see some arches that are just about jumping height. Use them to reach a series of higher ledges, then you’ll find more platforms at the back of the structure to the left. Follow these up to find the second ghost location.
Right at the end of the level, there is a hidden area. Look for a block at the bottom of the ramp leading to the exit, and you’ll find a switch behind it. Activate it to open a new path. Follow this route to eventually find a large screen and a ghost on the ledge just below it.
All Ghost Locations in Apex Tower
One of the easier-to-find ghost locations is in RKGK Chapter 3. At the start of the level, you’ll have to climb multiple sets of sliding platforms with safe areas underneath. At the bottom of the fourth set, look down below the platforms to see the glint of a switch at the far end of the room. Drop down and activate this to reveal the first ghost location.
During the level path, you’ll have to climb a tower surrounded by sliding platforms. At the top of this, you’ll go through a door to a room full of enemies and pillars of varying heights. Use these pillars to reach a ghost just above the door you entered through.
Shortly before the exit, you’ll reach a ledge with a grate floor, a screen, and a switch. Activate this switch to open an area below the ledge containing the third ghost.
All Ghost Locations in Top Floors
At the second set of cogs, you need to jump across and look to the right to spot a wall jump section. Use this and climb the platforms above it to find the first ghost location on this level.
After crossing the cogs with the first ghost, you’ll reach a ledge with a screen above two yellow blocks. There is also a closed door next to this. Check behind the yellow block closest to the door to find a switch that opens it. Inside, you’ll find a blue crystal at the base of a large platforming section. Traverse these platforms and collect all the red coins to make a ghost appear at the top.
Right at the end of the level, you’ll find the exit tower inside what initially appears to be a closed room. However, if you check behind a block at the rear of the tower, the walls will lift and reveal a new path. Traverse this path to reach a big screen. Tagging this screen makes a rail appear back to the exit. As you ride it down, the final ghost will appear in front of you.
All Ghost Locations in Focus.EXE
All the ghost locations in the Focus.EXE level of chapter 3 in RKGK involve taking a look to the side of the main path a little. At the start of the level, the path curves around to a doorway to the right. Ignore it and instead use the walls ahead of you to wall jump up to a short path with a blue crystal. As always, collect this to activate a red ring race with a ghost at the end of it.
After you travel through a glass hallway, you’ll encounter a section where you have to dodge laser grids on the floor moving in the same direction as you. As you reach the end of them, there is a platform off to the right of the ledge with an enemy on it. Drop down, take out the enemy, and find the second ghost inside a small alcove.
At the end of the level, you’ll be on a path at the top of the area with a view of a door leading out to where the exit is. While looking towards the exit, look left and down to see a passage with laser grids. Glide down, move through the passage, and collect the ghost at the end.
