Final Fantasy XIV is gearing up for the launch of Dawntrail. With the release of the fifth expansion for the MMO, there are plenty of changes and updates beyond the new Pictomancer and Viper jobs. Here are all of the FFXIV Dawntrail job changes players can expect for existing jobs in 7.0.

All Tank Job Changes in 7.0

The job changes coming in 7.0 begin with the tanks. This is by far one of the most intriguing groups since there are only four tanks in the entire game. When it comes to the four tanks of Warrior, Paladin, Gunbreaker, and Dark Knight, here are all of the job changes you should know about each of them:

JobChanges
PaladinAtonement will now have new, separate actions for its second and third uses. These actions will have new names and their own animations. In addition, there is going to be a new action to use in the Blade of Valor combo.
WarriorA new action will be available whenever players use Fell Cleave or Decimate with Inner Release three times. There is also a new action for after Primal Rend.
Dark KnightBlood Weapon will now upgrade into Delirium, with Delirium having the effects of Blood Weapon. A new action will also appear after using Living Shadow.
GunbreakerNew action after Fated Circle. New three-step combo players can use after Bloodfest.

All DPS Job Changes in 7.0

When it comes to the various DPS classes, ranging from melee to magical, here are all of the changes and additions you should come to expect for the existing jobs:

JobChanges
MonkCombos will now be based on performing actions in a certain order.
DragoonDrakesbane is the fifth single-target combo action with no directional requirements. Life of the Dragon doesn’t require the Dragon Gauge.
NinjaHuton’s effect is now a trait.
SamuraiTsubame-gaeshi now happens after Meikyo Shisui. Hakaze, Tenka Goken, and Midare Setsugekka will have new actions.
ReaperPlentiful Harvest lets you use Enshroud now. New action will arrive after Enshrouded.
BardSeveral abilities will now strictly buff. Pitch Perfect is an AOE. Straight Shot and Shadow Bite have been merged.
MachinistBarrel Stabilizer lets you use Hypercharge now, plus a new trait.
DancerNew action after Flourish and new action for after Technical Finish.
Black MageUmbral Ice restores MP with ice spells now, and there is a new action to move Ley Lines around.
SummonerCan now summon Solar Bahamut and new action after Searing Light.
Red MageManafication now lets you use your enchanted sword combo. Embolden has a new action after it, and Enchanted Moulinet only costs 50 mana now.

All Healer Job Changes in 7.0

These are all of the FFXIV job changes in Dawntrail 7.0 for the healers. These changes include White Mage, Scholar, Astrologian, and Sage:

JobChanges
White MageNew move action, new AOE attack, and a new trait.
ScholarSeraphism is a new action that changes the character’s appearance, new AOE attack after Chain Stratagem and a new trait.
AstrologianCard system is no longer random, Astrodyne is gone, and a new trait.
SageEukrasian Dyskrasia now exists and lets the player put damage over time on multiple enemies at once. A limited version of Kardion for the whole party will be added as an action.

Final Fantasy XIV is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
