A job or class system in a JRPG can really make it customizable to your playstyle. In Visions of Mana, each character can tap into different elemental classes that change their stats, weapons, and abilities.
These classes are tied to elemental vessels representing the game’s eight elements, and each character has access to nine distinct classes, including their base non-elemental form. Importantly, only one character can use a specific element at any given time, making your choice of class an essential part of your strategy.
Each elemental class also has a specific attack, called a class strike. This is typically the most powerful attack a character can pull off. These can clear whole fields of mobs or do serious damage to bosses.
As you journey through the game, you’ll naturally unlock all the elemental vessels, ensuring you won’t miss out on any class options. This allows you to fully explore each character’s potential and craft a versatile party ready to tackle the challenges ahead.
