The RKGK ghost locations in Chapter 5 are some of the toughest to find in the game. This includes one of the more complicated and frustrating ghost routes you will have to face in the campaign.
All Ghost Locations in Gravity’s Sinkhole
As you travel through the level, you’ll reach a platform with a wall jump to a higher area with a blue crystal in front of it. Touch the crystal to start a red coin race around the platform. Collect all the coins to open the back of the wall jump to reveal the first ghost.
The other two ghost locations can be found in the section of the level where you need two switches at the end of separate paths to active a low gravity well to advance. Each switch is surrounded by enemies, including two airborne robots. Defeat all the enemies on each side to unlock a ghost per switch.
All Ghost Locations in Misterium
When you reach the first checkpoint, you will spot a structure to the left. Use the platforms nearby to jump to the top of the structure and find the first ghost.
After the first big screen, you’ll encounter a blue crystal. As usual, touching this activates a red coin race which ends in a ghost.
During the section of the level where small collapsible platforms are rising and falling into the mist, keep an eye out for a large static platform to the right. Jump over here, and you’ll notice coins floating just below the mist. The spots with the coins are all hidden platforms, so use the coins as guides to jump across an alternate route. A ghost can be found after some rising platforms are activated with a switch.
All Ghost Locations in Leap of Faith
You’ll encounter a collection of timed platforms arranged in a grid shape and a blue crystal on one of them. Activate the light that makes the platforms tangible and follow it, touching the blue crystal as you go. As always, you’ll need to collect red coins, but you need to be careful to follow the light and not fall into the gaps the coins are floating above. This one may take a few attempts, which will require resetting the level.
During the second lengthy run across timed platforms, the second ghost can be found floating nearby in the section after the first grind rail. You’ll need to jump out to it, but you can grapple to the second grind rail if the platforms have already disappeared before you can get back.
The final ghost is in one of the more frustrating locations of not just Chapter 5 but all of RKGK. At the final island, there is a large spinning structure between the large screen and the exit tower. The ghost is floating above this, but there is no obvious path to take. Instead, face the screen and look to the left.
There is a short-timed platform route you can activate with a floating switch just off the edge of the platform. However, on the other side, don’t stop. Grapple up to the screen here, then hop up some platforms to the right and then across the pillars to the right. Another timed platform section will appear by the final pillar, which takes you above the screen.
In this area, glide across to reach some steps behind the screen. This area is now aligned with the top of the spinning structure, which you need to carefully use to jump across to reach the ghost. This can be a frustrating set of jumps, but fortunately, a grind rail will appear, so you won’t need to do the timed platform run again if you need to try again.
All Ghost Locations in Glassfall
After using a switch to open a door, you’ll reach a glass path ending with a junction. Look to the right and you’ll be able to see the first ghost. Follow this route to collect it.
After a room full of enemies and a big screen, you can climb a hill and grapple across to a new area. Look to the right wall, and a set of crates hides a small gap you can slide under. There’s a glass sheet you can break here that leads to an area with enemies and a ghost on a platform.
On the big screen right before the level exit, check the right side of the screen. Here, you’ll find some platforms that take you up to a hidden ghost.
All Ghost Locations in Minotaur.EXE
At the platform with the battery enemy that opens the next route, face away from the wall. You’ll see a set of platforms leading to a switch. This switch opens a passage lower on the wall. Follow this passage to find a ghost.
After clearing out the first enclosed room, the second room will contain a pit. Look down into the pit, and you’ll spot a passage lower down. Glide down to find a route to the second ghost.
The third ghost involves another red coin race activated by an obvious blue crystal. However, unlike previous red coin ghost locations in RKGK, the route here is less obvious. After touching the crystal, grapple to the center platform, then jump to the coins ahead. From here, turn left and glide to the coins on the higher platform.
Then, grab the two sets immediately ahead of you. Turn around and grapple the center platform again. You should be angled towards two more sets of coins. Finally, turn left and jump to the gap between two walls, where you can find the final set of coins tucked away. This drops the wall and reveals an area with a ghost and a big screen.
RKGK is out now for PC.
