Aksys Picks Up Experience Game Mon-Yu for the Switch and PC

Aksys picked up another one of Experience’s first-person, dungeon-crawling, turn-based games. Monster wo Taoshite Tsuyoi Ken ya Yoroi wo Te ni Shinasai. Shindemo Akiramezu ni Tsuyoku Narinasai. Yuusha Tai ga Maou wo Taosu Sono Hi wo Shinjiteimasu is heading westward. There’s no localized title for it yet. During the All Aksys February 17, 2022 presentation, the reveal only referred to it as Mon-Yu when confirming the English Switch and PC release. It is expected to appear in 2023.

As with many Experience games, Mon-Yu tasks people with creating a party of characters from eight different classes. Your party members can take on genre staple jobs like a knight, mage, priest, or warrior. You’ll then send them into dungeons. Once inside, they’ll chart things out and face foes. (They’ll also get stronger along the way.)

Here’s a trailer showing off the game’s art. The English version of this video appeared during Aksys’ announcement.

This second video offers a better idea of what it is like to make a character, prepare in the hub, and head into a dungeon.
