Cameroon-based studio Kiro’o Games has shared a new gameplay video for its African fantasy action-RPG Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan.
The video, which you can watch above, shows the improvements and additions that the team has made in the past few months. First off, you’ll see the wall climbing technique before being shown the new enemy types, some of which have strong group-based strategies to overcome you. Luckily, to combat this, Kiro’o added the ability to orient yourself while in the air, and to change the trajectory of air combos. This means that while you may be attacked from all sides on the ground you can easily take to the air to focus on weakening a single enemy.
After this, the video also shows off new puzzles and traps, plus the in-game menu is shown off, along with inventory management and the navigational system that allows you to locate where you are in the world. At the end of the video is a walkthrough one of the cities in the game not shown before. It’s one that houses one of the main tribes in the game, the ISAO tribe – known as a “cosmopolitan tribe.”
Kiro’o Games also announced that the game now has a publisher in Plug-In Digital, who has previously published The Next Penelope and Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams.
