By With all the news about Rock Band coming to the Wii it’s easy to overlook Guitar Hero. Activision bent on not letting their franchise stray from the spotlight opened up a campaign Rock Icon contest where Guitar Hero fans are invited to add themselves as a character in the next Guitar Hero. Well, not themselves exactly, a rocked out version of themselves. Lemmy von Motörhead is responsible for sorting through the videos to pick a winner who gets a tour of Neversoft on top of an avatar included in Guitar Hero. If you’re interested pull out a webcam and submit your video by the 11th of April and erase thoughts of dressing up like mummy musician. It’s done in the American Idol mock up video below.
