In the first half of 2020, a new Inuyasha mobile game from Hammer Entertainment will appear in Japan. Inuyasha: Yomigaeru Monogatari, a free-to-play action-RPG from Hammer Entertainment will head to both Android and Apple iOS devices, and it will be free-to-play. While its exact launch date is unknown, preregistrations have opened on the official site and a trial version will be available from January 30-February 4, 2020. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The Inuyasha: Yomigaeru Monogatari website doesn’t offer too many details about the game’s story yet. However, it does have character profiles for Inuyasha, Kagome, Kikyo, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Sesshomaru online. It has also been confirmed that there will be both cooperative and competitive multiplayer, as people will be able to participate in raid boss battles together or have teams of three characters fight against others’ groups.
An announcement trailer offers a first look at this new Inuyasha mobile game. It looks like campaign fights will have players roaming around a field with two AI allies, tapping buttons in the right-hand corner that correspond to a standard attack and special skills. Also, while the website only mentions a few major characters, the screenshots in the video show people like Jaken, Kohaku, and Mayu Ikeda will also appear.

Inuyasha: Yomigaeru Monogatari will appear on Android and Apple iOS devices in Japan in the first half of 2020. As a reminder, another Inuyasha mobile game called Inuyasha: Battle of Hell appeared in China in 2019.
