A Little Insight Into Little King’s Story’s Development

Did you know Little King’s Story had a multiplayer feature that had to be scrapped from the final build of the game? It also had a first chapter that never made it into the final build either, and was replaced by a different introduction to the game.

 

Yoshiro Kimura, Producer and Director, mentioned both lost features in a short post-mortem about Little King’s Story at Gamasutra. Kimura’s team consisted of individuals from three companies: Cing, Town Factory and Marvelous. Here’s a breakdown of the staff members.

Musicians: 30 people

Voice Actors: 18 people (mysterious foreign friends)

Storyboard: 1 person
