How to Unlock Dun Scaith in FFXIV

As part of the Heavensward expansion, players will need to meet the following requirements to unlock Dun Scaith:

  • Complete The Weeping City of Mhach.
  • Reach Level 60 with your character.
  • Be Item Level 235.

Much like The Weeping City of Mhach, unlocking Dun Scaith isn’t all that complicated. First, head to The Parrock and speak to Leofard at X:7.0, Y:6.9 to accept the quest “Freedom for Our Skies.” This will have you running around The Parrock for a bit and talking to a few NPCs there before you can continue.

Once you’ve wrapped up these conversations, speak to Stacia in The Sea of Clouds at X:6.2, Y:5.8 to accept the quest “Where Shadows Reign.” This will unlock Dun Scaith, which is the third and final Alliance Raid for the Heavensward expansion. This will wrap up the Shadows of Mhach Alliance Raid series, granting you a Redbill Scarf and the ability to replay these quests with New Game +.

Like all Alliance Raids, unique gear will drop from the boss fights, and just like Void Ark and The Weeping City of Mhach, everything is themed around the Void. The final fight will also yield a chance to obtain a unique Minion, Triple Triad Card, and crafting material.

Below is a list of the rewards you can obtain in the raid:

  • Void Matter
  • Wind-up Scathach
  • Diabolos Hollow Card

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
