Broly is now available in Season 4 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers and is easily the toughest raider in the game to beat. Here’s how to successfully beat Broly in Dragon Ball: The Breakers and win as a survivor.
How to beat Dragon Ball: The Breakers Broly in Season 4
There are three main ways to win as a survivor in Dragon Ball: The Breakers against Broly in Season 4. As with all other raiders, I have done all three! The first of these is to defeat Broly in combat and reduce his health bar to zero. This is much easier said than done, especially compared to the likes of Frieza and Cell.
You see, no Dragon Balls exist when you face off against Broly. In its place, though, Super Transpheres appear periodically throughout the match. These essentially act as if you had wished to make yourself stronger when you assemble the seven Dragon Balls. Unlike transforming normally, though, these super transformations are permanent unless your HP reaches zero.
The Super Transpheres also match whatever level Broly is at. He starts at level two, so the first sphere usually appears glowing randomly on the map about two minutes in and transforms you into your semi-permanent level two fighter. The goal here is to team up on Broly because he has the most powerful attacks out of any raider.
What you want to do is have a player get the first Super Transphere and then wait until most, if not all, of the other players also have transformations ready. Then you want to all attack at once against Broly. You can easily overwhelm him with this method, and you will overpower most Broly players if done appropriately with a team with at least four or more players at once.
This method is even more possible at level four Broly than other level four raiders because of the Super Transpheres, which you can double up on, unlike the Dragon Balls most of the time. But if you don’t have enough teammates fighting together, you’ll lose way faster than against other raiders. Good luck because I have only successfully done this once with a team in my first 15 or so Broly matches due to a lack of teamwork.
How to escape Broly
On the other hand, your other option is to escape him. This can be done through the Super Time Machine or one of the escape machines. The latter is preferable with every other raider, especially for solo players, but not for Broly. His intense and frequent super attacks make it hard for the last player to escape alive.
Instead, you want to find the power keys and bring out the Super Time Machine as soon as possible. You then want to keep Broly occupied using rocket launchers, skills, and transformations as much as possible. This works even if you think you’re going to lose in a fight as long as you can keep him busy enough for the Super Time Machine to activate.
To do this, I highly recommend Mr. Satan’s Immortal Champion passive skill. You can upgrade this and use it without the skin. It lets you survive a hit from the raider and knocks you backward. This is a fantastic recovery move, which can buy time to escape, heal, and waste time so the Super Time Machine will complete.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is now available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC. Cross-platform play is currently in development.
